We adore details. We have meticulously planned and furnished every room, every space, indeed, every corridor. This style corresponds to our take on cosiness: warm and inviting. After a long day of skiing or hiking you can look forward to a relaxing retreat in a lovely ambience.
Maybe it is an influence from early childhood, but to us arriving also means that ‘someone is there’. We are happy to assume this role and are always ready to listen if you have questions and any needs to be met.
The well-being factor in our hotel is especially important to us, hence our offer encompasses relaxation, indulgence and being easily accessible. For instance, the valley station for the Schönleitenbahn is a mere 2-minute walk from the hotel, the ski run into the valley is right next to the hotel. Throughout your stay you can just leave your car parked up. You can get around here on skis, via snowboard, bike, bus or on foot.

With us, the buffet breakfast is something the boss sees to. And because he, Josef Eder, likes to enjoy it himself too, the selection available is particularly extensive. Mr Eder greets all guests with his distinctive ‘Guten Morgen’, serving your preferred beverages to you at your table. At the buffet you will then find everything that is part and parcel of the perfect start to your day: fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, sausages, salmon and cheese, jams and honey from the local beekeeper, regional dairy produce and eggs, cereals, juices etc.

We were born hosts, growing into this role from a young age and we still love it to this day. We simply adore being here for our guests. Due to our small-scale structure we are always available and are here to see to your needs at first hand. We are happy to make improvements and are therefore always ‘on the ball’.
Together with our staff, our biggest aim is to make your holiday the loveliest time in your year. We stay discreetly in the background, yet are welcoming, always available when you need us, and are happy to provide some insider tips. As ‘locals’ we know Glemmtal like the back of our hands.
Hiking, cycling and skiing holiday in Saalbach-Hinterglemm
Our hotel’s location is a real plus. Within a very short time you can be sitting in the gondola (the Schönleitenbahn is opposite our building) and wedeling across 270 km of pistes. Two snow-covered ski runs take you back to our hotel.
Summer and winter alike hikes and strolls start right on the hotel doorstep. Collect your bike from the lockable bike store and head straight into a cycling paradise, with over 400 km of very well-signposted trails and routes.
Our four-legged friends also get to enjoy an exuberant run about. If you would like to bring your dog with you, please let us know in advance.

We don’t want your holiday to be about working through a ‘to-do’ list. However, what we do recommend is enjoying some time-out in our wellness area. After an action-packed day, relaxing is a real highlight. An aromatic infusion in the Finnish sauna and the scent of eucalyptus in the steam sauna relaxes both mind and muscles. Indulge in some time to read, listen to music or simply enjoy a nap in our cosy relaxation room.
